Deanna Pindell : Thneeds Reseeds and other tales of environmental redemption

Public art and installation sculpture with an ecological focus. Pindell’s work serves environmental functions such as raising awareness and actual remediation. Place-making and poetic metaphor are also layered into these spaces.

Thneeds Reseed : Deanna Pindell refashions vintage sweaters into ‘seeds’ of microflora to heal blasted landscapes, a clever reversal of the terrible tale of the Lorax and the disappearing Thneeds.
